This policy explains how Ai.GetXTRA.IN handles personal data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). The chat on this site is Get-AI: it answers from its own knowledge on this site's server and sends your messages to no other company and no AI service.
What the chat stores
- Your questions and the answers, so the chat can follow up on your last question and the owner can improve the answers. Before anything is saved, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, PIN codes, Aadhaar and PAN numbers, card numbers, UPI ids and a name you give ("my name is …") are replaced by placeholders such as [phone] or [email].
- A random chat key in your browser (local storage) and on the server, so the same chat continues. No sign-up is needed.
- Instead of your IP address, a hash that changes every day, only to limit how many messages are sent (against misuse). The IP address itself is not stored.
- Your vote (helpful or not helpful) on an answer. A question asked in several chats and marked helpful may become another way of asking a taught answer; questions holding hidden personal data never do.
- If you sign in (when the owner offers it): your account, so you see your past chats on any device.
Why
To answer you, to keep a chat going, to stop misuse, and to find questions the chat could not answer so the owner can teach better answers. Your messages are never shown to other visitors as answers.
How long
Chats are deleted automatically after the period set by the site owner (90 days unless the owner changed it), and so are the records of each answer. Unanswered questions are kept only as grouped, masked text.
How to delete your chat
Use "Delete my chat" in the chat window: the chat, its messages and its answers are removed from the server at once, and from your browser. If you are signed in you can also delete your account under Account → Privacy.
Accounts and the rest of the site
- An account, if you make one: name, e-mail address, a hash of your password (never the password itself) and your language.
- Security records: sign-ins, active sessions and a shortened IP address, to protect your account; deleted after 90 days.
- What you send us through the contact form or support: the message and its attachments.
- Payments, if the site sells something: the order, the amount and the payment provider's reference. Card and UPI details stay with the payment provider.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: the session, the sign-in and your language and theme choice. The chat keeps its chat key in your browser's local storage.
Where the answers come from
The chat learns from public pages: Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0), Wikidata (CC0) and websites the owner chose and may use. Each answer shows its source. It does not use what you type as knowledge for others.
